In February, Jazz singer Michaela Therese officially released her newest EP “Michaela” and we were more than happy to attend the long awaited event! After all, Michaela has to be one of the most talented and well respected musicians in Singapore today. Her list of accomplishments is pretty damn impressive but this songbird is no one trick pony, masterfully covering popular jazz numbers & putting a stamp of originality on pop and rock covers tastefully & effortlessly never fails to ensnare fans on her regular performing circuit. No doubt she is a busy bee, but thankfully she found the time to record this EP, 4 tracks of which are originals, in her own words they’re all about “Her childhood, mum, Grandpa and a whole lotta soul & heart”.
